Tito played professional volleyball for 19 years as well as 8 years for the national team; World Championship Volleyball Games 1977 Italy, Pan American games ’79 San Juan, NORCECA Tournaments ’77 (where Puerto Rico beat the USA for the first time in history), NORCECA ’81 and Central American Games in ’78, ’80, and ’82.

Tito was inducted into the Volleyball Hall of Fame in 2017.
Graduated from University of Puerto Rico with a bachelor’s degree in education and a minor in Mathematics, where he played for 4 years winning 3 championships and was selected for the World Universities Volleyball Games National Team. During his vast career he played Outside Hitter, Middle, and Setter. De Leon played Pro Beach Volleyball for many years, winning more than 15 tournaments, also refereed Pro Beach Volleyball AVP (Association of Volleyball Professionals) and WPVA (Women Professional Volleyball Association).

Tito served as UCF Women Volleyball Div 1 assistant coach 1998 to 2000, winning conference 2 years and making it to NCAA 2nd round. He also coached the University of Puerto Rico women’s volleyball team. Tito has coached college, club, high school, and professional teams for over 40 years. He was a referee to all national volleyball divisions for more than 25 years. He worked for around 10 years for OVA (Orlando Volleyball Academy) and OTVA (Orlando-Tampa Volleyball Academy). After that he and went to Naples to coach at Gulfside Volleyball Academy. Now he is back in Orlando and came to Game Point Volleyball Academy with a wealth of knowledge and experience.
